Children's Ministry
Children are among the most precious gifts God has blessed us with. God has placed upon parents the responsibility of nurturing and training children up to love Him. Here at Northeast Christian Church we strive to partner with you, the parents, in the most important development of your child, their spiritual development.
Jesus says in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." The Children's Ministry at Northeast Christian Church welcomes all children and exists to provide biblical guidance, education, service opportunities, and fellowship for children ages 3-12. In addition, a loving, caring, safe and secure nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during the Sunday school and worship services.
Our desire is to inspire the children to know God and grow in their love and faith in Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, coming to a complete understanding of His plan of salvation and obediently and faithfully following and serving Him forever.
Faith Launch 10:30-11:15 am on Sundays
5, 4, 3, 2, 1... The children will blast off to our Faith Launch program during the sermon portion of our worship service to receive a kid-friendly message from the Bible. The children are dismissed from the sanctuary after communion and will return during the closing song. The children enjoy a time of joyful learning and fun as they listen to the lesson, ask questions, learn Bible verses, and participate in reinforcement activities. Our children are divided into three different classes according to their age and grade level.
Classes:
- Stars (ages 3-5; pre-K)
- Rockets (grades K-2nd)
- Comets (grades 3rd-5th)
