
December 26, 2003, 7:00 pm: Six men meet to discuss the possibility of starting a church in Middletown, DE. The meeting started with all six men on their knees in prayer and concluded with a desire to move forward with the idea. This is the only photo taken that evening. January 11, 2004 10:00 am: Northeast Christian Church holds its first worship service in a business office at Peoples Plaza Shopping Center located in Glasgow DE. Our attendance was 37.
Jan 04 to Nov 04. That first year the responsibility to preach was shared in rotation by Jim Warwick, Matt Brennan and Danny Miller.
November 28, 2004. Northeast Christian Church hires their first minister, Tim Grasham. Tim along with his wife Susan and their two sons relocate to Delaware from Indiana.

January 16, 2005. Northeast Christian Church moves to Olive B. Loss Elementary School in Brennan Estates located in Bear DE.
September 11, 2005. Northeast Christian Church moves to St. Anne’s Episcopal School located in Middletown DE.
2005 – Average attendance: 77
January 8, 2006. Jim Warwick, Scott McCarthy and Paul Reed become ordained as the first elders of Northeast Christian Church.
2006 – Average attendance: 109
December 30, 2007. Matt Brennan ordained into eldership.
2007 – Average attendance: 119
April 13, 2008. Tim preaches his final message before departing to Pennsylvania to follow his calling into church planting ministry.
April 14, 2008. Frank Forman hired as Sr. Minister for Northeast Christian Church. 
July 28, 2008. Northeast Christian Church sends 5 adults and 14 teens to Zanesville, OH. to participate in group workcamp youth mission.

December 1, 2008. Northeast Christian Church hires their first Youth Minister, Adam McManus.
2008 – Average attendance: 120
July 5, 2009. Kevin Henke ordained into eldership. 
July 26, 2009. NECC sends 5 adults and 16 teens to Elizabeth City, NC to participate in group workcamp youth mission.
2009 - Average attendance: 150
January 2010. NECC purchases 13.75 acres of land on Cedar Lane Road along with an additional adjacent 23 acre parcel donated to the congregation.
October 10, 2010. Danny Miller joins eldership.
